 2019 – Gun Raffle

West Gardiner Rod & Gun “Wall of Guns and Bows”
(only 200 tickets will be sold)
Drawing to be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 or when all 200 tickets have been sold  (whichever comes first)

NOTE – Inadvertently, the 2019 raffle tickets were printed with last year’s drawing date . (October, 2018).  The correct drawing date is July 18, 2019 or when all 200 tickets are sold.  We apologize for the error.

                                               Tickets are $10 each

The winner will choose from one of the following prizes:
                       Mission Crossbow – MX Series package                        Matthews Triax Compound Bow – assorted colors                                                          Browning X-Bolt Rifle – assorted calibers                                                                         Benelli Shotgun – Montefeltro 209A
                       Kimber Pistol – Ultra Carry – 45 Caliber 

                      Entry tickets may be obtained:                                                                  

  • At Audette’s Hardware, located at 22 Peck Farm Road in Winthrop

  • From any active club member

  • At club meetings at 6:30 on the first and third Thursdays of the month

  • By sending a check made out to West Gardiner Rod and Gun Club for the desired number of tickets together with a stamped self-addressed envelope to:                                                                                                       Scott Farnum                                                                                                                                      110 Maple Ridge Drive                                                                                                                      Monmouth, ME 04259.                                                 Scott will return a ticket stub to the sender along with a photocopy of the stub to be entered into the drawing made out in the sender’s name.

 

**************************************************************   IFW ATV SAFETY COURSE

 SATURDAY JUNE 1ST,2019 9-3:30                                                                     SPONSORED BY                                                                                                                           WEST GARDINER ROD & GUN CLUB

Located at the clubhouse 297 Collins Mills Road in West Gardiner.  Maine law requires a person 10 years of age or older but under 16 years of age to successfully complete an ATV training program with that persons parent or guardian prior to operating on land other then that owned or lease to their parent or guardian or on which they live. Passage of a final exam is required.

DO NOT BRING AN ATV. The instructor will bring whatever equipment is needed.

Cost for students is $10 including lunch. Lunch is available for parents and guest @ $5 or they can bring their own.

Checks made payable to West Gardiner Rod & Gun Club are payable at the time of registration.

PREREGISTRATION  is required to reserve a seat. Your seat will be held until 15 prior to the start of the class.  After that, it is first come – first served.  A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST ATTEND WITH STUDENT.

 The class is limited to 40 students.

**************************************************************     No Vehicles                                                                                            The range road will be closed this week to vehicles till mud season is over (estimated mid-May, or so).  Until then, the range is open to foot traffic only.

**************************************************************      ID cards                                                                                        Beginning this year, ID cards will be required to be displayed while using the range.  Neck lanyards have been distributed to active members and some are available on the wall at the range.  Also, clip-type badge/card holders work well.
